Going along with the music festival metaphor, Muzik Masti stage provides you an opportunity to jam with fellow musicians and artists at the conference. We welcome all you music and theatre lovers to join us during the evenings after the main conference sessions. We will be hosting a dance, theatre and music extravaganza before icebreaker and banquet receptions for fellow musicians and artists to perform. It will be a great place to re-energize yourself and another networking opportunity to make new friends.

Muzik Masti stage will have a jam room accessible to all conference attendees starting at Monday 2:00 PM and will be open through the conference during all breaks (breakfast, breaks and lunch). Each evening after the main program sessions finishes, we'll open the Muzik Masti stage for performances. We'll provide some instruments to make it convenient for everyone. If you are particular about instruments feel free to bring your own.

During the evenings, we have 3-5 slots for performances. Some of these slots would be pre-allocated and some would be open for bands to perform impromptu. The exact numbers will depend once we get the proposals in. The stage will provide opportunity for to alternate a band performance with the other category (Stand up Comedy, Magic Tricks, Mimicry, etc) performance. This will make sure bands have enough time for setup.

Muzik Masti stage will set up a wall for newly formed bands to sign up for slots. We envision this wall to be used more like the open space sign up wall.

We have re-opened the submission system to put in proposals for performance at the Muzik Masti stage. You can also propose to form a band by inviting people to perform with you during the reception. We would also like to see participants forming Just-In-Time bands during the Jam session to perform in the evening when the stage is open for performances.

• 4. What instruments you need
  We'll try and organize these instruments for you. Although please note we not all requested instruments can necessarily be provided. If three or more bands need the same instrument then we'll try to organize one.

• 6.a. You have a Fully formed Band
• 6.b. You have a potential band, but need Musicians/Members
• 6.c. You're a Musician and need a band
• 6.d. Muzik Clinic
  For example, if you are interested to teach how to play a special instrument, say banjo.

  For example, Stand up Comedy, Magic Tricks, Mimicry, etc)

To add to the fun, based on the performance during the week, one band would be selected by popular demand to perform during the banquet. This band will be dressed in up in real costumes provided by a company which specializes in such events.
