Call for Volunteers – Agile 2008

If you answered yes to these questions then we are looking for you. The Agile 2008 organizing committee is looking for volunteers, and we hope you will answer the call.

A little more about volunteering

Volunteers are expected to help out for about 16 to 20 hours during the conference. Their first obligation is to help the event planners prepare for the conference – this may include, but not limited to, stuffing bags, running errands, even folding shirts – all made more appealing by the promise of a high‐energy, collaborative and fun working experience.

None of these tasks are difficult, but all are important and critical to the success of the conference. Volunteering is a great way to meet other student and industry volunteers, researchers, and probably some of your favorite authors.

Please remember, all volunteers must commit to volunteering for approximately 20 hours during the conference between Sunday August 3rd and Friday August 8th, 2008. In return for participating as a volunteer, you will receive free conference registration, but you will be responsible for supplying your own transportation, lodging, and other incidental costs. It may be possible to obtain support through other sources such as your department or organization.
